Someone once lamented, “If I had managed my money well, half of my problems in life could have been avoided!”.  It was with this premise that this book was born. It will teach you how to manage your income to achieve a fabulous financial outcome.

In an increasingly fast-paced world, you cannot afford any financial disasters that will derail many of your life goals. Issues such as the ways of retiring comfortably, the difficulty in saving money, the rising cost of education and many others are tackled head on. Seemingly complicated financial matters will become easier to handle when all the details – benefits, pitfalls, and so on – are laid out.

Start a journey where you get a plan which suits your lifestyle, dreams and priorities. Onwards to a great financial outcome!

About Author

Amelia Hong has been in financial services since the subprime crisis in 2008 making her a rare breed where most people would have run away from a financial meltdown. She has been recognised year after year for her efforts in this field. Out of the 10 years, she has been a Licensed Financial Planner for 5 years where helping clients holistically became crucial to their financial wellbeing.

She studied Economics at the National University of Malaysia (Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia). She started her career by peering into computer screens for live commodities prices, moving on to developing consumer goods under a subsidiary of Berjaya Group, restructuring mortgages in Citibank for defaulting clients to being a buyer at Metrojaya before making a foray to Diethelm Keller Siber Hegner dealing with consumer goods.  At the height of the economic boom, she left to pursue her MBA at the University of Nottingham.

She was a regular contributor in the StarBiz Financial Snacks column and has been on air with BFM and Capital FM.Amelia is a co-author of the book Financial Snacks: Practical Bites For Money Matters. This book is suitable for those who find the topic of day-to-day finance a little dry. A compilation of 52 articles with a cartoon attached to each topic provides a rare combination of finance and humour which makes the ‘snacks’ easy to swallow.
